End Game

Well, here we are. Things have pretty much calmed down for the site in terms of the layout. Sure, I’ve made a few minor adjustments, but those are mostly slight appearance tweaks. I’ve also placed a couple of links over to the left. Those are for Firefox and the Google Pack. Both are, in my opinion a couple of must haves for everyone. Try them out, see what you think.
With that being said, no official word on boroski.com. The guy hasn’t renewed it yet, which is a good thing. However, it’s still in the redemption phase, which is a pain in the ass to wait for. I’m also going to begin working on templates for the skimboarding site that my friend Danny wants to get up and going. That should be interesting, because while this site is pretty straight forward (what you see is what you get), his will be a step up on the graphic/design front. More flowing than angular. We’ll see…. I’m not going to get too far ahead of myself. Katherine is working on her own things too. Her site is phenomenal, in my opinion. She’s in the process of revamping it as we speak, but WOW!! Even with construction going on, I almost feel bad linking to it.I mean, it’ll make mine look so sad. So is life though. I mean, what should I expect? She’s been doing it MUCH longer, and hell, she’s also who I’m learning everything from. So, in a way, I’m pretty damn lucky.
So here’s what to expect with the next change. I’m going to work on a new layout. Same general themes (I like the ability to change color), but I’m going to give the pages more flare. As for this spot here, well the video on the main page will be changing on a regular basis. Some new, some you’ve probably seen before elsewhere, but they deserve to be shown again. The links will be updating on a regular basis, but as for the main page, there won’t be my little ‘design updates’. Oh, stop crying. Those are moving to the blog, which will also start carrying ‘normal’ blog entries. This spot will be just a random commentary on something topical, in what I hope will be a witty/tongue-in-cheek way. It’ll be updated frequently, about as much as I’m updating now (once every 3-4 days). Hopefully, your internet service willing, it’ll be enough to keep you coming back…
Oh, and I still need photo submissions!!!!
