Our friends Rian and Ryan are expecting their second girl. Now normally they’re a very creative couple, but they’re currently going through a bit of a dilemma. They’re trying to come up with a unique, beautiful, and rather clever name for their new baby girl, but nothing is sounding good. So here’s what I’ve been enlisted to do…..

Please feel free to click my comments and add your idea a baby name. Just think, two complete strangers will be forever linked with you via the internet if your name idea is the one chosen. Isn’t that great? Aren’t you just getting your hopes up now that it will be you? Now for the prize.

Unfortunately, there will be no prize. However, on your death bed you will receive total consciousness. So you’ve got that going for you, which is nice. (although, I will add your site to my links if your name is chosen… impressive yes?)

Seriously though, if you’ve got a great idea for a name and are no longer popping out babies. Maybe a name that your ‘other’ would never go for, but you’ve always loved. Well, here’s the chance to give it another chance. So feel free to add your two cents. All names will be considered, the more unique the better. We’re talking recovering ‘ex-collegiate-deadheads’ here, so you can imagine the possibilities.

Yes, it’s true, my niece Jackeliene gave birth to her daughter Isabella on Monday morning. Her and her husband Brian are just as happy as can be. I’m personally jealous though because by this time next week, Bella will have spent more time in Hawaii than I have my entire life. Damn, I need to get out more. She’s got all 10 fingers and all 10 toes, and apparently she poops quite a bit. Yes, that will be fodder for me to tease her with when she gets older. What can I say, I try to gather material as soon as possible. Oddly enough though, she takes after her mother in that respect, HA!

So I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate the happy couple on bringing a such a beautiful baby into the world. Now only 18 years left until they can spend a quiet moment together again.
